A home in Scranton sustained major damage in a fire last week. Leesa Squibb shared this photo of the Scranton fire department battling the blaze in the home located in the 800 block of Lincoln St.
The emergency call was placed about 1 pm on Thursday, Nov. 29, when smoke was noticed coming out of the roof. Firemen believe the blaze was electrical in nature, starting in the kitchen wall.
No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported, although two family pets were overcome by the smoke.
